We seek
experienced auditors with an
understanding for audit process
efficiency, who possess the ability to
judge when the appropriate areas must
exhibit strong audit quality. These
freelancing positions serve as a back-up
for situations where our primary team
needs help to address growing demand.
Opportunities for more hours are likely
to be available during our busy season,
and may lead to opportunities for full
time work.
Part Time Integrated SAS70 Auditor
The work is mostly completed remotely,
with occasional US travel for one week
to collect evidence. While the work
would be offerred to you ad hoc March to
August, our busy season is September
through mid-January, where up to 20
hours or more would be possible. Some
prior SAS70 auditing experience,
at least 5 years of audit
experience, with at least 2 in
information technology and 2
supervising the work of others. An
understanding of ISO and SOX for COBIT
IT frameworks is required. A CPA or CIA
certification is required, and CISA is
desireable.
We leverage remote access
and groupware technologies that
include our own templates to
customize and audit processes to
be efficient, so you don't have
to start from
scratch. Preferring to team with
independent professionals rather
than "make them employees", we
prefer to utilize MBO Partners'

to coordinate, obtain group
benefits, reduce tax, billing,
and collections paperwork, and
lower risk for our clients.
